The uterus is the female reproductive organ that allows pregnancy. It’ a pouch that lies between the rectum and the bladder in the (pelvis). During the (menstrual cycle), the (endometrium) thickens to allow an embryo to implant. The uterus is able to adapt to the size of the ( foetus ) during pregnancy.
