Ovulation

Ovulation is the second phase of the (menstrual cycle). It is the release of the (egg) from one of the (ovaries), triggered by a hormone – LH. It will pass through the fallopian tubes to nestle in the (endometrium) if the egg is fertilised by a (sperm). The egg is fertilisable for 12H to 24H. Without ovulation, there can be no pregnancy. Without fertilisation, the egg cell disintegrates.
